June 7 , 2021- GLENVILLE, Nova Scotia: Glenora Distillery of Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada, announces that its very own Glen Breton 14 year old joined the very prestigious Mile High Club . On May 22,2021 Glen Breton 14 year old was cracked open by its owner and Canadian Kevin Walsh. Kevin had just completed the dangerous climb to the summit of Mount Everest. Post climb Kevin cracked open the gold medal bottle of Glen Breton 14 year old single malt whisky much to the surprise of his fellow climbers by sharing and toasting to their amazing feat over summiting the largest mountain peak in the world. Glenora Distillers would like to congratulate Kevin on his momentous feat and for helping Glen Breton 14 year old reach new heights.
